Star-Ting Incorporated is bound by the Canadian Association of Management Consultants Code of Professional Conduct and the relevant regulations of the regional or provincial institute of Certified Management Consultants.

Star-Ting Incorporated is bound to follow the professional obligations that serve to protect the public in general and the client in particular.

Responsibilities to the Profession

Knowledge

Star-Ting™ Incorporated will keep informed of the applicable Code of Professional Conduct; and the profession’s Common Body of Knowledge; and will strive to stay current with developments in areas where expertise is claimed.

Self-Discipline

Star-Ting Incorporated will conduct itself and those representing the company in a professional manner.

Responsibilities for Others

Star-Ting Incorporated will ensure that other management consultants carrying out work on its behalf are conversant with the Code of Professional Conduct.

Star-Ting Incorporated shall behave in a manner that maintains the good reputation of the profession and its ability to serve the public interest with no participation in activities that detract from the professional status.

Responsibilities to the Client

Due Care

Star-Ting Incorporated will act in the best interest of the client, providing professional services with integrity, objectivity and independence. Star-Ting Incorporated will not encourage unrealistic client expectations.

Business Development

Star-Ting Incorporated will not adopt any method of obtaining business that detracts from the professional image or the institute of its members.

Competence

Star-Ting Incorporated will only accept assignments it has the expertise and skill to perform.

Informed Client

Star-Ting Incorporated will accept assignments after the client is informed to assignment objectives, scope, workplan and costs.

Fee Arrangement

Star-Ting Incorporated will establish fee arrangements before any substantive work starts and will inform all relevant parties when the objectivity could be impaired. Where there is a potential to compromise Star-Ting Incorporated’s integrity, the arrangement will desist.

Conflict

Star-Ting Incorporated shall not enter into situations where conflicting interests could impair its professional judgment; and strive to communicate and inform its clients of any potential conflict. Star-Ting Incorporated will not take advantage of the client relationship by encouraging an employee to consider alternate employment unless authorized by the client or by ways of an advertisement.

Confidentiality

Star-Ting Incorporated will treat all client information as confidential. Materials collected in private interviews with client’s employees will remain confidential and protected by Star-Ting Incorporated and its contractors or sub-contractors; in order for Star-Ting Incorporated to maintain its external influence. Star-Ting Incorporated will inform the client to the location and condition of sensitive information storage. Star-Ting Incorporated will refrain from public statements that could directly or indirectly lead to the disclosure of confidential client information.

Objectivity

Star-Ting Incorporated shall refrain from serving a client under terms or conditions that impair independence and Star-Ting Incorporated reserves the right to withdraw from the assignment if such becomes the case.
